can anyone tell me how i can adjust my headlight so it shines out front more? it is only bout 7-10 feet in front and that does not help much. of course, it is much better on high beam but i do not use it anytime i have an vehicle coming toward me. thanx for any help on this matter. bobcat

+Hey bobcat,I have been advised by some veteran riders to run the headlight day and night and to keep it on bright unless it is in unusual high position like a coon hunting light--you have enough hazard with un-attentive drivers in cages what with cell phones and other distractions..I may be wrong but maybe other drivers can tune in and give their opinions--if I am wrong ,I would rather have an irate driver looking at me rather than an un-attentive driver coming at me across the center line--thats my attitude and opinion---happy trails,fflintstone----btw--the adjustment is not easy to do,you have to practically dismantle the front end to make adjustments

The one I had like that I was able to reach up by the fork and reach the adjuster. Or take the piece in front of the windshield and the shield itself and it is easy. Yes the come set so low they are dangerous, one can not see far enough to know if something is in or beside the road.
