Well ellpee, I got it apart, told some time to figure it out, found the wire giving me problems, now how to fix it, probably have melt solder and stripe wire and re-solder it.

Yup, probably so. Just touching a hot soldering iron to the appropriate blob of solder, while smooshing the white wire into it, sounds like the cure, but that soldering stuff is trickier than it seems, particularly when working within a plastic switch housing that is subject to melting in its own right. My missus could do it in a heartbeat, she does stained glass work and is absolutely magic with a soldering iron, but you're at the wrong end of the continent for me to loan her to you.
