Nothing that involves a membership, thankyewverrymuch. If I can't buy tow insurance straight up, standalone, no bundling, I'll do without and hope for the best. But thanks for all the well-intentioned advice; I did ask, didn't I.

I have ***TWO*** scooters insured with the Gecko for $100 a year, but liability only. They didn't cost me enough brand new to justify collision and comprehensive, which is what they all say I have to buy if I want roadside assistance. I can buy a folding trailer from Harbor Freight for $250 or so, and have it available for other things like hauling my little Bassmaster around, or bags of stuff for gardening, or whatever. So thanks, but no thanks to "joining" AAA, or AARP, or any other such organization. Frustrates me, though, that roadside isn't a $5 add-on that you can buy without all that other stuff you don't want. Kinda like the #$@%@$@#$#$ cable companies that bundle 350 rubbish channels with the 20 you really want, and charge you big bucks as if they're doing you a big favor.
