Ok, So recently I was able to start my motorcycle after 3 months being on the bad weather with no cover because burned harness, now When I was able to run it I kept hearing a click,click,click,click sound when engine is on the more i give gas the more it sounds. It sounds faster not louder just a fast click click click click. What is it!? Sounds from the top of the engine.

yup--sounds like a valve is clicking--after 2 months,all the oil in the engine probably drained down and left moving parts dry ---it should get less noisy as it warms up ,or you may have a sticky part in it that will get better as it picks up the oil and runs for awhile--at any rate ,make sure it is getting lube in it,check the oil and don't run it more than a few seconds and do not rev it up --good luck and have a nice Christmas Day--fflintstone ( this opinion is based on personal experince and should not be considered a professional advice)

well it has now been running for 2 days on idle after I refilled the oil but the sounds is still there. It had the sound before it stopped working when I bought it brand new but after starting it again after 3 months it sounds a little louder
