I need answers to why or what could cause the back tire to stop spinning. I'm unable to ride cause of this problem. it seem to be an easy fix I hope.

OK, a little help for those with answers. What make and type of scooter are you talking about. Engine size will help too. How many miles on the scoot and how old is it. How do you know the wheel is not spinning. Is it not spinning on the stand with rpm's raised or on the ground? Just some helps for those with answers. .

its a 2010 tao tao 50cc. 1157 miles. on center stand or ground it doesn't spin

well it could be the belt is sliping or not engageing.to check take the belt cover off ,should be left side back ,you may need to adjust it ,an or replace it ,if you know how to get the cover off then run it see what is does ,does it grab ,,I am finding on these chinese scooters ,need to know a lot of things about them an how to work on them ,may need to adjust the clutch ,its could be a lot of things ,get to know your scooter ,the best advive I got hear was getting to know everything is ,that is pretty easy to do ,otherwise the guys hear are great THEY WILL HELP YOU SCOTT
