Hello, My name is Jeff I live in Macon, GA and I have been riding and working on motorcycles and scooters none stop for 44 years. I have a machine shop in my basement and do quite a bit of motor work. I all ways have motorcycles I am working on in the shop. At 59 my only transportation is my rig (motorcycle with sidecar), which is a 02 HD Ultra I bought new with over 94,000 miles on it. When my health started to go down hill I put a 2006 Harley sidecar on it. In 44 years of none stop riding a good bit was and is with out a cage (4 wheel vehicle) but never with out two and do to my age and health problems now 3. I have never been fond of riding in a cage. I have ridden to and in as well as back from all but 5 states on it. I did Alaska in 2005. You see my rig on a trailer call the police as it has been stolen. The only scooter I have had to this point was a 1959 Cushman and a Harley Topper I will be building along with 2 others for a friend. I all so want to get a Tao Tao Evo 150 and hop it up. My grandson has a Tao Tao 4 wheeler and for the price has been a very good one. Thanks Jeff This is a Harley Topper they only built them from 1960 to 1965 and less then 3,800 total where made. They did sell them in 1959 but where marked as a 1960. I will be building 3 of these. This was my Cushman I sold many years ago. This is my daily ride and only transportation right now till I get something else built. Pictured with my oldest grandson.

Man those are sweet scoots! Goes back in time when I actually rode a Topper just once and I've rode several Cushmans over the years. I'm watching a couple right now that I'm hoping will go for sale soon. If you're a Topper fan I'm sure you know about the Topper Forum: .harleytopperclub.com/sitemap.htm" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">.harleytopperclub.com/sitemap.htmNow don't think I'm trying to run you off! Far from it, we want pictures of the rebuilds and your work, it's very apparent you know what you're doing and I'll personally get a big thrill just looking at the photos. Been some time sine I been down Macon way, still have a good friend up in Gainesville north of ya. We're so glad you're here and excited to see these classic scooter, got a mod, and photo area for just these kid of projects plus a classic scooter area too. JR
