Get a screwdriver or something and put it on top of the screw and give it a couple of wacks on top of the screwdriver. That will push down the screw and loosen the thread grips some. Alleyoop

Heck, just take your moto tool and with a cut off disk cut a slot in top of the stubborn bolt and use a blade screwdriver--I have done this once--and if that fails, finish the bolt head off with the cutting disk,--like cut it down to the metal--I did that once--also I have drilled the bolt out --did that once--good luck, fflintstone

To get the extractor to work, clamp your vise grip onto it--I did that more than once--clamp it on so it will be in a vertical position ,then you can push it in while turning it gently--I also use this for turning threads into the hole with a threader after drilling--also I have added a heli-coil to a bolt hole after drilling out,a 3/8 inch hole ,or about a 10 mm hole ,not sure about metric but your local parts house can help you there--good luck ,again and happy trails, fflintstone

It sounds like you're going to have to drill it out and then re-thread the hole, even may have to go one size larger? Also Churchy heat does help stubborn bolts move. We use a small propane type torch to heat them.

Just a thought, picture is fuzzy but it looks to me like it MIGHT be possible to file a flat spot on each side, good enough to give the pliers something to grab ahold of.
