There has been discussion about these things but I have not found any listing of how to use the extra bright, new style of lights.
Do these new bulbs use same numbers for interchangeability? Are they direct replacements with no rewiring needed? I have seen locations to buy them but never a list of most common lights. I looked for such information in the tech help section but did not find any. I looked into the Roketa list of scoots and supplies but they don't give the bulb designations, just the location and cost. It appears that many I have found will be at least $4.00 and then up.
Has anybody developed such a list? There are a number of lights on the scooters but I am thinking that many will actually be the same. .

Thanks Alleyoop. Just took me back to where I had come from. Well, just won't be doing it right now so plenty of time to figure it all out. Pretty darned expensive looking stuff. Maybe as LED's become more common the prices might start to fall. .

Lamp bulbs

As it happens I just got done determining all the small bulbs (except instrument panel) on my 2011 Roketa. Front turn signals say R10W 12V E13 282 (amber glass) Front running lights, next to headlights, say W5W 12V E13 280 (these are the little wedge guys) Rear turn signals say R10W 12V E13 282 (same as front, but glass is clear as the lens is amber) Rear tail/brake say 12V 10/5W, no other numbers (has two contacts on the bottom of the base rather than one like the turn signals)
I suppose (and am about to find out) that those numbers will somehow cross-reference to the usual 1156/1157/etc. numbers one sees at AutoZone and elsewhere. As to LED cross-refs, see my post in the 250 Chinese forum about charging issues; some good JR and Alleyoop links there.

Did you try those numbers in the cross reference chart to see which LED to buy? Would hope the cross reference chart is helpful to some folks. .

I looked every way I could think of for xrefs for 282, 280, etc., and found squat, but have concluded that if the base fits and the voltage and wattage matches, it's all good. In my case (see other thread in 250 Chinese), my #1 suspect is a juice-gulping fan, so that's going to be my first tactical plan -- replace that sucker. Unfortunately on my Roketa that involves pulling some plastics, which I hate, and probably some creativity with the mounting. But Alley pointed me to a fan that pulls less than half the juice of my OEM Roketa fan, so I'm gonna be working that hard.
HINT for the clueless like me, watts divided by volts equals amps. I guess I probably learned that in high school, but one forgets. Anyhow, with regard to scooter batteries and charging systems, less amps is a good thing, so do the math.

Thanks for your feed back. So the search list is not complete. So I guess I will keep looking and maybe find a more complete list somewhere. .

To continue the discussion, as I've browsed various links folks here have provided, I see some kind of adapter thingie for LED bulbs. It looks to me, not sure, like it's only needed for bulbs that are supposed to blink, i.e., turn signals/emergency flashers. Can any electro-gurus confirm that? If I'm correct, I'm might go LED on all the NON-flashers but leave the flashing bulbs OEM.

Not an answer to you question at all but I have been looking for a 280 and 282 lamp. All I have been finding is various light strips called 280 or 282. Just never have found just a bulb with that designation. .
