Also when in it cranks, the lights try to come on. I see them illuminate but they only do this when I jump the solenoid.

Ok from what you just said, the crank is turning and the stator is producing Electricity that is why your lights come on dim. So since the ignition appears to be messed up, it may be grounding out the CDI and will cause a NO SPARK condition. So the next thing to do is check for that very thing. So find your CDI and take the KILLWIRE off the CDI, that will eliminate anything grounding out the CDI. Then check if you have spark. Alleyoop Get a tiny screwdriver the wire connector has a little flap to lock it in you can work the lock and then pull the wire off the pin. If not you can always cut the wire down enough so you can splice the wire together again. Alleyoop

I cut the CDI kill wire and it sounds the same. I'm getting no spark still. My CDI looks exactly like the picture you've posted.

Ok, at least we now know the CDI is NOT BEING grounded by the Bad Key and or the Killswitch.
So Spark to the plug goes in this order: 1. Stator feeds the CDI voltage. 2. The Pick up Coil sends the signal to the CDI to Release the Voltage to the COIL. 3. The Coil builds up the Voltage to 20000-40000 volts and sends it through the Coil Wire. 4. The Boot Cap over the Plug sends it to the Plug.
So have you changed any one of those ITEMS? And do you have a VOLT METER TESTER? Other wise you will have to start replaceing parts. With a Volt meter we can narrow the culprit down.
1. Replace the Boot Cap 2. Replace the COIL 3. Replace the CDI 4. Replace the Pick up Coil 5. Replace the Stator Alleyoop Alleyoop

Also from taking a closer look, I noticed I only have 1 green wire coming out of the CDI. Not sure if that makes a big difference.

I know the diagram says one or two but I wasn't sure if it really made a difference in the type of scooter

I haven't replaced any coils, only the spark plug. I have a tester. I think it's a bad coil because the coil looks weird. On one end it's just a wire that touches a screw I have to twist it into. If that makes any sense. The boot cap is disconnecting from the coil wire. I dont think thats suppose to happen. I'll try testing the coil but I wasn't sure if I need to hold the break or just test it w/ the ignition on. I'll post a pic of the coil.

I think the coil is bad I'm getting nothing on the tester. No volts on the coil on either end. The stator is giving out power

WHAT the boot cap is disconnecting from the coil wire??
Man no wonder your not getting a spark. Ok the boot cap SCREWS ONTO THE COIL WIRE. So unscrew the BOOT CAP OFF THE COIL WIRE COUNTER CLOCKWISE just like any old screw.
Then Cut 1/2 inch off the COIL WIRE make a NICE SHARP CUT. That will expose GOOD WIRE inside the COIL WIRE. THEN screw the BOOT CAP ONTO THE COIL WIRE nice and TIGHT and see if THEN you get a SPark. Alleyoop

Ok well after connecting the boot cap as tight as possible, I still have no luck with a spark (* (*) and after testing the coil it's still not getting any volts. I suspected that this was the problem because this coil never looked normal. I think the coil is bad. I'll order the switch and a new coil and start back up next week when the new parts come. Is scrappy dog scooters reputable?

Cool, if still no spark with a new coil then get a new CDI, if still no spark then get a PICK UP COIL then last but not least a Stator. Unless of course you have a volt meter and we can then test to at least narrow it down. Alleyoop

Scrappy Dog Scooter Parts is very reputable. I just ordered a few parts, and they were here 2 days later. They have the best prices too, it seems.
