Looked and searched, but couldn't find anything on a replacement horn so I can get rid of the meep, meep, one? Any small 12V horn work?

Any 12 volt horn would work. Car horns and air horns are popular replacements. Anything louder than the OEM horn should be installed with a 12 volt relay to handle the extra power requirement of the louder horn. I like the Wolo Bad Boy which I use in both of my scoots. The compressor and horn are one compact unit, but they can be split up for use in tight quarters like on my VIP50.

Thanks Cruiser! Just went to the store and grabbed a high tone horn and installed it. Thicker than the OEM horn so tucked it in behind the RH headlight. Didn't tell my wife I was going to test it in the garage. She almost tore the door off the dishwasher!

[replyingto=oldputz]oldputz[/replyingto]replaced mine with an electric air horn (bad boy) Man is that loud. You'd never expect from this little ol trike. It give out the same burst as a trumpet style air horn. Everything is all compact in one unit mounted it on the upper side of front storage compartment under the front cowl/faring....Still get no respect form drivers pulling out in front of me... But the horn is still fun to use.
