do you have to remove the clutch and bell to remove the rear tire on a 50 cc qmb 139 scooter

No, you take the Rear Tire off from the OTHER SIDE the muffler side and it slips off the Shaft that is connected to the CLUTCH on the other side. Alleyoop

How about some pictures of what you have done so far. Here is what a motor and the shaft that the wheel mounts onto: If your scoot has 10" wheels you have the SHORT CASE MOTOR, If you have 12" wheels you have the LONG CASE MOTOR. its a short case the problem is the rear wheel is not coming off for some reason its frozen in there and from what i can see it shouldn't be it turns but is gravlely like the bearings might be gone once i get it off ill know

You might want to put the axle nut back on and use a rubber hammer to hit the nut, that's what I had to do to break mine loose.
