I was reading about someone riding to a reunion 5,000 miles away. Gawwwd, man, you must have an iron butt.
My JCL rides so hard, all my fillings are loose and I think it has dislocated what's left of my spine. I dread driving up over the curb into my driveway!
Is there anything I can do to this JCL 250 to make it ride better? It feels like the seat is bolted to the axles.

Can's wait to hear any responses. when I sit on the scoot my rear suspension is already bottomed out so its like riding on a rigid. I will add to your question by wondering if stiff, adjustable rear shocks will help at all such that it will "hold" you up while riding and have room to compress on bumps.

I can't help much with the technical stuff like springs and shocks but I did improve my ride a little bit by changing to a better set of tires and not putting a lot of air in--I got my Roketa MC 250 B new with a set of Kenda tires which were terrible on wet roads and even on gravel --I ordered some Avon Viper Strykes---it made a big difference in handling and seemed to ride much softer--at first I kept 34 PSI then went to a softer ride at 30 PSI--seemed to make quite a difference--try softer tires, maybe that and some different springs--good luck and safe ride--fflintstone

Actually since I am riding a Reflex it is quite comfortable. Better suspension that the YY250T that I had first plus higher profile tires that carry less air pressure. Conditioning has a lot to do with it, I ride distances all of the time.
