My scooter is very dirty right now, just wanted to share a pic of the exhaust after I finally got it on today. I ordered this pipe/muffler from kingstarscooters on ebay for $115, it sounds real nice and along with the UNI Filter has made a very noticable power increase, this thing however was a royal pain in the backside to get on my scoot, I think it must be designed for the Ruckus or something else besides a Roketa MC-74-150 Hunter style scoot, I had to cut 2 brackets off and rebend the pipe before it would even come close to fitting, if I didn't have the tools and the know how to do this, this buy would have been a big wreck, I did booger up the chrome pipe a bit getting it rebent, but thats OK because it is hardly noticable & I plan to make a custom pipe later on myself anyway. It sounds nice, I need to check my spark plug and see if it is running too lean though, I have a #115 jet in it now and I have a #120 that I can put in if needed, it pulls so much better and a very noticable increase in low end torque on take off, it may be a bit loud for anyone looking for quite mellow sound, but I like rumbling throaty exhaust so it's great for my taste. I need to up my roller weight though, 7500RPM's @ approx. 52MPH @ 12g. roller weight equiv. I will give 13g a try and see where that gets me. Will be getting myself a catch can put together real soon also, tired of the oil splattering a few drops at a time from my vent filter when I run at 7500RPM's for a few miles. Peace, Shan Attachments:

Here's how I did my UNI Filter install as well, I use part of the snorckle pipe that went to the filter box and use a PVC union to adapt each of them together, worked great and even put the filter in an area where it gets fresh air from the front as I'm going. Peace Attachments:

Very Very COOL!!!! I almost bought one of those for my 50cc. I still might since it will bolt on to my Header pipe. Anyway to post a video of the sound?? Does it have a silencer??? Anyway I love it!!!!! The dirty scoot is a plus in my book. That means ya spend more time riding than washing If you can, I would put the UNI directly on the carb without any intake hose. Just an idea if it fits.

Thanks bong, the exhaust sounds real nice, it is a straight through design with a perferated inner tube that does catch a bit of the gases to keep it from sounding like a straight pipe, it does have a bit of a pop back when reved up pretty good and then letting off the throttle, but not constantly and it has anice deep tone, NOT high pitched snappy sounding muffler at all and I'm glad of that. As to the UNI Filter, I was going to mount it direct to the carb. but it wont work that way, the cross bar is in the way and the carb sits so low that the filter would be mashed up real tight against the fender, so that is why I decided to mod. the snorkle and plus instead of it just getting a bunch of the dusty dirty air being kicked up on my dirt roads now it is higher and up front so the fresher cleaner air coming in under the seat hits the filter dead on which may also keep it cleaner longer too. Bong this is a very good sounding pipe, they had it listed for $129 on ebay and I made an offer of $115 and they accepted it, so I got it shipped right to my door for $132, was a pain in the ole bee yut (butt) getting it on my scoot but it's there and I like it a lot so far, I did take my die grinder and beveled the ID ofthe flange that goes to the head so I would have a nice smooth flow without any extra restriction, all else was real nice, if your scoot has a single shock and doesnt have the long mounting posts that stick out from the swing arm bracket, then you should have much less trouble getting this set up on yours, mine needed some serious tweaking which was a bit rough but after I figured out how to get it done and done it, it all went together pretty easy. Didn't really know how that RED Muffler would look on my Blue and White Scoot, but since my gauge faces are Red White &Blue I thought what the heck, I'll just stay with the patriotic thems sorta....LOL! Oh well, my blood is on it and it owns me so I'm happy with what I got done so far....... now I want a better head, better carb/intake and maybe the A9 cam and also 59mmBBK, maybe the 4 valve head as well, NOT 100% sure on that one yet but maybe. I say go for it, get that pipe and I'll bet you'll like it, I'll get a short vid uploaded on you tube ASAP and then post the link here on this thread so anyone who wants can hear how it sounds. Ah yes, spilling blood makes it a true Red, White, and Blue. I still say VERY COOL!!!! That the first one I've seen on a scoot other than a Ruck. I was looking to get one from Ebay myself but was out bid at $130.00 Now remember I ride a 50cc but the engine and mounting is almost identical minus a few cc's . If you can post a video I think it would be a first for that pipe. Congrats!!!! As for the UNI I know ya 150 guys have a problem with that cross bar. Now ya got a real problem though. You modded the scoot. It will never end now!!! A9 Cam, 4 valve head, It never stops Just ride safe and look out for the other guy!!! Very Very cool my friend

Here's a link to a short vid I just made and uploaded to youtube, that will give anyone wishing to know what it sounds like a an example, and like I said on this vid. it does sound better live than it does on the cell phone video, but it still sounds pretty good IMO....
Peace, Shan

I found one of these pipes on a buy it now auction from kingstarscooters that also had a make an offer button on it so I figured they cant say but one of two things so I hit-em with the $115 and the next day I had it bought..... could have got one that was the long pipe (P&P brand set up) from morethanhundreds (seller) on ebay fpr like $124 shipped, it is chrome and all, and actually looks pretty darn good, but i wanted the shorty........ so I went this route, monstergy6 has the shorty mufflers too witha stainless header pipe and all for a lot more $$$'s but I think it is specifically for the ruck and I didn't want to spend that much on a pipe right now. Yep mods are still on the list of things I want to do...... I also have three motorized bicycles and plans for more, so mods and tinkering are a big deal for me......always messing around with something when I can....LOL! Yeah, that cross bar on my 150 is a big pain... but we just have to work around it. You do the same friend, ride safe and watch out for the crazies who think they are the only ones on the road.....yep we got those suckers all over the place in this part of the woods....LOL! and they'll getcha if you aint careful. Thanks for the compliment bong, I like it too.. Peace, Shan Ah yes, spilling blood makes it a true Red, White, and Blue. I still say VERY COOL!!!! Your welcome, I talked to the fella at kingstarscooters and he was amazed that the kit didn't just bolt right up on my scoot, he said that he had only been carrying this exhaust kit for about 6 months and so far they had been working out real good for people he had sold them to, but who know if he is being honest with me or not on that part of it..Shrug. But I do know that I looked at some example on youtube where the 150cc scoots they where on did have bolt on and go installations looked like because there scoots had a different factory exhaust set up than mine does, maybe I just have an odd ball...... ?? Anyway, I told him my gasket was broke when I got mine and the rubber strip for the clamp was missing, he said he would get those shipped right out to me, the box looked like USPS had thrown it off a freaking cliff when I went to pick it up so I know the damage and loss was due to their handling of the package and not the sellers fault but he is sending me replaacements anyway he said. Very nice sounding pipe.......I really like mine for sure. Peace I have been looking at these. Thank you for this post and the video!

Hey Map, I to was looking at morethanhundreds too. Small world I guess I was wrong about you being the first with a video. 3rd place ain't bad though. I ended up skipping the Shorty and narrowed it down to a couple of pipes around 115/150 bucks I was just about to buy and came across a 50cc pipe for 79.99 with FREE shipping!!!! To good to pass up. There was a chrome and black one. I went with the black and besides that wonderful sound looks almost stock on my black scoot.

I got and installed my exhaust about 3 days before your post. That's why that very cool shorty was still on my mind (I'm jealous BTW) Anyway, I don't have a camera or cell phone. (Long story, Camera was stolen and I've never had a cell.) I apologize for hijacking your thread !!!! Maybe I can borrow a camera and post pics. Off topic again but, Good idea for the catch can Be safe and Keep On Scootin On!!!! Anyway to start a thread about those motorized bicycles??? I built one a while back and sold it but, They are fun as Hell!!!!!! I love small engines and 2 strokes rule!!! I know at least one other member that has a passion for Whizzers that may be interested. They are scooters/mopeds afterall. I would love to see them.

Sure alleyoop, Soory I didn'yt get this sooner this has been my weekend to work and I will also have to work Monday, but I'm off Tuesday so I will make another short vid and I'll rev it up pretty good so you can hear how it sounds, It doesnt sound exactly the same in person as it does on the vids but it's pretty close. I'll see if I can set my phone up in a holder and then maybe do a high speed WOT drive by so it will be reved high but have a load on it also, this may give the best example....Shrug? I'll just have to experiment a little and see how that works out, it it isn't very good then I'll just do a stationary high rev vid for ya... Peace, Shan Mapbike, Can you ring it out so we can hear what it sounds at high rpms? Alleyoop

Thanks Mapbike, Also how long is it from end to end and the Diameter. If it is not to loud and the right size I might try it on my Trike. But on the Trike it cannot be to big in Diameter otherwise it will be to close to the rear tire and the Length is also a problem because if to long it will not fit and hit the rear Axle. That is why I got the SupperTrapp Muffler it is only 12" long and 4" in diameter. Thanks again Alleyoop
