Yesterday had trouble scoot, check spark plug look lean and not running well, so last night redid valve adjustment and turn a/f 1/4 turn richer twice, today ran great, had not problems at all, but any time I'd stop idle would go down, maybe I need to turn it back a 1/4 turn lean? Attachments:

Yes try 1/4 LEANER, if it idles up and then idle comes down it is a little to rich.
Also what do you have the IDLE set at, it should idle at 1800-2000 rpms and the rear wheel NOT spinning, just to the point it wants to spin. It may turn very very slowly.
If the idle is to high and the rear wheel is spinning when you come to a stop it will put a load on the motor and it will IDLE LOWER, because it is trying to turn the wheel but your weight will not let it and holds the motor back . Alleyoop

Hi Alleyoop, I too was thinking that, so while I was waiting for a response I when over and turned a 1/4 leaner, and it seem to right up and idle did go up, maybe problem solved. when I first started goes up to about 2200.
It threw me off when I tried to raise idle and it got worst.

Good job BRO, yea 1/4 turn on the Fuel Mixture makes a big difference. 1/4 turn to much either way you can be running lean or to rich. To rich is not bad but Lean is not good. Once you find the spot then if still a little off then you work with 1/8 turns to get inbetween. Alleyoop

When it settles down after the enrich shuts off, I'll set Idle about 1800RPM's.

What was strange was it ran great, no problems while driving, just when stopping.

When you say 1/8 turn, is that while its running or after the test drive. Thanks Alleyoop

The fine adjustment of 1/8 is not a given if you find that with the 1/4 turn it is running good and to your liking. If you get it nice and hot and it acts good when you stop then leave it as is. If you feel the motor is still not quite right then you can try the 1/8 turn. You really have to see your tach and your ears have to perk up as they say(HAHA). Myself I can hear changes in the motor as well as how much it vibrates, the tachs on them are not very accurate and to see a 50rpm chanage you will not so it is up to your ears to be able to hear the difference and also look and feel for less vibrations putting your hand on the handgrip. When I first got my Roketa it would not idle without nursing the throttle, and even after warmup died at every stoplight. RPM was maybe 600. Read here that idle should be 1700 or thereabouts, but decided to go gradual. Upped rpm to 1000 and it started and idled fine at all temps. After awhile, backed it off to maybe 900, still all good, so that's where I am now. I post this because the rpm numbers I see in various threads here seem high.
