At 1100 miles I notice the left brake lever on my Roketa has a bit more free play than the right lever. Brakes function okay as far as I can tell, but it takes more squeeze on the left (rear) than on the right. If I "pump" the left lever a couple times the squeeze factor seems to even out, but at the next stoplight it's back where it was. Checked fluid on that side, full to the top. What do I need to adjust, where, to balance out the two levers? Or do I even need to worry about it?

I have 250b Roketa, have you look at the brakes to see if they are good? You might have air in your line, what I did was take my lid off the brake reservoir and gently squeeze the brake handle like I was pumping up my brakes, then stop and watch, you will see air bubbles come to the top, I put new brakes on the back and bled my brake by the tire, but I couldn't get all the bubbles out. So this is what I did and it worked. Not sure if the handle is adjustable? Btw, my right is also a little firmer the the left, that's normal.

Well most use the Left hand brake more than the Right hand brake and the brake pads get worn down faster. But there should be an adjustment at your rear wheel to adjust the lever that pulls when you squeeze the brake(IF it is a Drum Brake on the rear). Alleyoop

Nope it's a rear disc brake and Richard is right, got to get the tiny bubbles out.

"Ti-i-iny bubbles, in the wine ...." Okay, will do that. Brakes look fine, and only 1100 miles on the scoot, so wouldn't expect any disc/pad/caliper problems yet.

I opened the left (rear brake) master cylinder and gently pumped the lever, and saw no actual air bubbles coming out, just fluid squirting a bit with each squeeze. Topped it up with new DOT3 and closed everything up again, and brakes seem fine. Left still feels a little "softer" than right, but brake function is A-OK, so I'm not gonna worry about it too much at this point. Thanks for the video, Alley, seeing is always better than reading, and backflushing sure makes sense to me when the time comes.

When I did mine I had no brake fluid come out, I just worked the handle awhile and waiting for about 20 minutes at a time, it took awhile before I seen any bubbles, but it did work I watch that video and that would be any easier way of bleeding those brakes Great video Alleyoop
