The factory alarm/remote start is toast so I disconnected it and now I have no spark. I have replaced the CDI, my stator is good and so is my coil. So I have narrowed it down to some kind of wiring nightmare. These scooters are not anything like the GY6 so I am at a loss...
Any Ideas?

On most if you disconnect the alarm/remote you have to jump the plug so that you can use the key to start it.
Check this with your wiring on the remote plug.
Find the alarm/remote start module... trace the wires to a white plug. Unplug the plug from the wiring harness then if you have a brown/white and a black/white wire in the harness plug join them together with another wire... your scooter should start...
You might try connecting the grey and pink... if you have these colors
Sometimes the alarms have a fuse.. Just leave it plugged into the wiring harness and remove the fuse.. It should start-up Alleyoop

If you can post a picture of the alarm/remote plug along with the wire colors and the colors wires to the CDI then that would be most helpful. We'll get her going.

I have a automatic picture resizing code on this forum so post them and it should come down with no issues.

here are the wire colors on my alarm plug. its a 9 pin connector. with the clip on top, the top row starting at the left the colors are as follows
row 1 red/black = goes to cdi red = constant hot black = ground
row 2 dk green = ? green/yellow = starter wire yellow/black = ?
row 3 green/white = right light green/black = left light red/white = ?
the cdi colors are as follows according to your number diagram.
1 blue/white 2 black/white 3 black 4 white/green
5 empty 6 black/red= this goes directly to the alarm wiring harness.
hope this helps. I will continue to try the photo thing. the phot bucket process has changed a little bit.

I can send pics from my cell, but I cannot manage to upload them from it. It says they are too large. (stupid smart phone) On the DC 20v setting I get a reading of 0.05 from the black wire on the CDI

Don't go anywhere I need to know one thing, what color wires are on the sparkplug coil. I've almost got it figured out but I need to know this information.
Also do they go to the plug on the alarm/remote? Only one may go there and the other may be a ground? JR
