I have a jmstar 150. The headlights and the right turn signal just went out. the only thing new is it was dropped on its side and and also I changed the battery and a few of the connectors for the battery and ground wires. I did all these things and then when i started it back up the lights and right turn signal did'nt work. Oh and i also reconnected my horn. I've checked all my connections and fuses that I know of and all look good. Any ideas?

Yes and welcome to the forum! When you dropped it more than likely you damaged the switch assembly on that side or at least pulled some of the wires loose. The headlight dimmer switch along with the turn signal switch is on the left and all together in one assembled switch assembly. They are a simple type contact switch and it doesn't take much to damage them. I would start there and see what you find. JR

I checked and it seems there all separate switches and all wires look intact and plugged into switches well. Is there a way to check switches?

Did you check the bulbs they may just have broken inside or the wires going into the socket or it could just be the bulb came loose in the socket itself. I had that problem with one of my rear turn signals if the bulb comes a little loose inside the socket they will go out. So I warpped a 1 thin strip of duct tape around the socket and the bulbs nipples in the slot to hold it in. Alleyoop

I just realized that the dash lights don't work as well all the rear lights work (brake & turn) I do have a meter but dont know how to use it very well all the switches are separate. Is there a fuse that would control only the headlights left turn and dash lights?

No fuse just to those functions, if the rear lights all work then when you let if fall you have a broken switch or wires pulled loose in the front. Time to take the front off if the switch assembly is good. This is a typical left switch assembly for a scooter: It has a hi/lo beam switch, turn signal switch and horn switch all together yet each switch is fed independently and one can fail and the other go bad. Headlights feed off of the R/R and will be a brown or yellow wire, Horn feeds off of the black wire from the key switch and the turn signal switch will be fed by usually a gray wire from the flasher unit. You need to take it apart and see if it has voltages to each switch. The yellow or brown wire will only have voltage with the scooter running while the horn and turn signals only need the key on. JR
