Alley they just transferred all of the old dawg accounts and thread base to the new forum so that's why you saw his diagram thing it was there all along. I'm sure I can activate other accounts to but probably won't. I can see some advantages to the new software and disadvantages too. One of the things you noticed is ads on every page and post, don't think for a minute this was just done to make things better, money and advertising is involved and hey the owner who was Lee has that right. I looked at all of the old moderators profiles including Lee's (Dawg) and if it hold to what I'm seeing he sold the forum and is no longer in management himself, again his business. yup im done trying to log in on dawg's and 49scoot. i tried to log in on both but FORGET IT! i kept getting log in error and they both keep sending me a new password i spent a hour trying. so they wont be getting any thing from me and i donated to them. looks like this one is going to be my only place i go. plus i like the people here better. as you all know i own my own machine shop here in p.a. and i was trying to help a guy out on dawg forum with the big valve head that i do for .i dont wanna say cause i dont want anybody to think im pushing a product for a dealer..but this kid thinks he knows it all o well. keep this forum like it is and it's great...thanks.....

Yep, JR WATCH it, looks like something is also going on, on DOC, the forum is somehow changing. Rich is looking into right now.

I get it, I have moderated forums over the years and I understand how the "conflicts" can be,
That being said do you know how this thread looks to a relative newcomer?
It doesn't show this, a very good resource and forum, in a very good light. It's just my opinion but I belive you prop yourself up on your own merrits, not by trying to tear down others.
Just my .02 , I hope I didn't offend anyone.
I'll play in all the sandboxes...until I'm told to leave.

what happened is mike and lee conspired to steal the posts, data, technical stuff.
it wasnt Lee's it all belongs to PRO B
like im fond of saying

but im no dumbass either.
mike as shibby agreed to PRO B's TOS when he made a handle on the original site.
he just didnt read it.
PRO B owns all of it but the name.
mike is legally going to have to delete all the data
posts, e mails and posts that were on the orginal site before he stole 'em
anything freely posted on his site , will belong to him, but not all the stuff he stole
anxiously awaiting word from PRO B

Hello Doug and no one is thinking you are sneaking around and glad you came to look at our forum. Lot's of faces that you know and maybe a few you don't.
Guys there's lots of things going on at the forum we all know as Scootdawg and right now no one knows what is going to happen next.
When I saw what was going on the first day it happened it was obvious to me that Doug or anyone else didn't know what was going on either. I called Doug and asked him to go look, he was at work and he called me back and found out that it had moved and now there is a big debate as to who owns what?
Only the people in charge and own it will know and they are seeking answers now as to what direction they need to go.
Over the last couple of years there has been a lot going on as far as scooter forums and new ones have come up like this one, some from people just wanting something new, some from people who fell out of other forums.
It's no secret that Scootdawg was/is one of the biggest and longest running forums, lots of people cut their teeth so to speak on Dawg myself included. But it's time to as the old saying goes bury the hatchet and all get along.
I believe this can happen and Doug coming here is proof that it can happen also. Doesn't matter who was right or who was wrong on any issue it's time to move on and get along.
Don't know what the future holds for the old forum we know as Scootdawg again only the people in charge know. Thing will change no matter what the out come is for sure.
In the mean time lets all get back to what we love the most talking about scooters and let what is going to happen do just that. It'll not change how we do things here nor will it at other good scooter forums either.
Welcome Medman and hope you like what you see and join in the fun.

Well folk SCOOTDAWGS.NET is being SHUT DOWN and supposedly the POSTS Deleted or ARCHIVED but they will not be on the forum. But the NEW forum will still be up BUT EMPTY.
So it appears that the OWNERSHIP of ScootDawgs.COM is now owned by MIKE WOOD. Which is what should have happened in the first place JUST A NEW OWNER instead of LEE.
