Well after posting last weekend, I thought I would do my oil change and swap out the radiator fluid. So I did my car, the wifes car and then the bike. All went well except for the radiator burping. First of all I had the cheat sheet on the computer so I could run in and read it from time to time ( thanx Proffessor ). Then after round one I let her cool down I think I putzed around the yard and cleaned up. Then round two...she got hot. So I was puzzled. Round three same...By round four I had done what TK did and left the radiator cap off and just let it run. Man you would not belive the air pockets...Being persistent pay off, She finally filled up , mellowed out and now she runs a notch cooler than she ever has. By the way if you have ever had the resevoir off on one of these things you will notice that the outlet from the resevoir is extremely tiny. Not much fluid is going to flow there even if there is suction on it. The hose is plenty big. So anyhow I drilled it out just a tad to allow more flow from res. tank. Next time I will plan to take pics. so you guys can see. I feel bad that I did not, But I dont think of it till it is too late.
