I am in need of the flange nut that holds the clutch bell. for my 2008 Roketa MC-54-250B (Linhai clone engine). Does anyone know what size (and thread pitch if needed) it is? It looks like it might be the same as the flange nut for the variator. Any help would be appreciated. Attachments:

I know it is 19mm, threads I don't know. The threads on these scoot are for the most part pretty good, hope you get it fix soon, pm JR he would know that info.

Yes, the socket size is 19mm, What I need to confirm is the thread size.
I believe the thread size, might be M14, fine thread. I guess I can measure the shaft threads to determine it, but I was hoping someone on here already knew from experience.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but metric doesn't use the old coarse/fine pitch method of SAE. A 19mm nut is a 19mm nut. I've trolled through enough drawers at my local hardware store for metric hardware and I never saw pitch differences.

I called Roketa and asked them to confirm the pitch of the flange nut. The "technician" said it was a 1.25. Given that information, I ended up drilling out a 1/2" flange nut, then tapping it M14 X 1.25 (spark plug thread size). It went on and firmly holds the bell. I guess it's possible that it's a 1.00 pitch, but the 1.25 worked (at least it appeares to). I'll ride the scoot until I put it away for winter, then I'll remove the flange nut I tapped and see if there is any thread damage on the shaft. Hopefully all is well.

I tried to locate an M14 x 1.00, but couldn't find one. Those, I guess, are very rare. The reason I tapped to the 1.25 was because of the Roketa "tech". He told me that was the size of the flange nut in their parts list (though I did see it said M14 x 1). Do you think a 1.00 pitch could be re-threaded to a 1.25? I know I can find a rethread die for the 1.25.

Most definitely but one would need to use a verym good quality die and yes 1.0 is odd but findable.

I have confirmed, The 250B with the linhai uses a M14 X 1.0 pitch flange nut on the clutch bell and the variator. I drilled out a 1/2 flange nut, then tapped it to M14 X 1.00 and it went on perfectly.
JR. Feel free to add that to the reference list.

Thanks so much for letting all of us know for sure! Now we need to find a solid supplier to list as a reference link too!
Guys jump in here and lets find one.

It was available from Roketa (but remember, the tech told me it was a 1.25 pitch, lol) and JR posted the link above. They do charge a 12.00 minimum on shipping.
