Isn't Bowling Green Ky home to a nice school? I don't remember which school it was but do remember seeing a school there, on a hill top, looked nice to me. But then I did not stop their, I was just passing through.,,
On the other hand, living away from home and the parents is a great way to develop independence in young folks. If you have already instilled the proper thinking into their heads they will survive without problems. Both my son and daughter have managed to get degrees and are not drinkers or doing drugs, but those temptations were indeed available.
Congratulations. Good wishes to you new college student. .

Congrats, a bitter sweet day I'm sure but something to be very proud of.
My eldest starts preschool in a few months, the youngest the following year, not looking forward to having them running around the place all day. School fees are insane. They are seriously endangering my triumph explorer fun. Crazy thing is I could buy 3 or 4 explorers with a single years fees.

Good Luck to you and her! I hope she does well. We've put 3 through school. Just a kindly word of advice - don't let her move all the stuff she acquires over 4 years back home. We ended up with 3 apartments worth in the garage and basement (including mice). When we moved, it took forever to get rid of it.
