I sent them an email asking what would the corresponding Pulstar plugs be for the NGK CR7HSA plug (or the NGK Iridium CR7HIX [hot plug] or NGK Iridium CR8HIX [cold plug] versions.

I'd rather stay with NGK, Nippondenso autolites.. too many SNAKE OIL companies out there. But try them if you want.. i mean just keep you old CR plug and a wrench with you just in case it fouls.

Hotstuff I remember this coming up on another forum and someone did get a cross reference on a scooter plug but for the life of me I can't find it? I'll keep looking. JR

Thanks! Someone else mentioned that the NGK CR 8HIX Iridium IX spark plug is "longer" than the CR7HIX, and could damage the pistons; from what I've read, they're identical in size/dimensions, just the CR7HIX is a hot plug, and the CR8HIX is a cold plug. I put the CR8HIX in last night, but now I'm a bit concerned that it could damage the engine - thinking maybe I should swap the stock NGK plug back in until I've confirmed it won't damage anything.

I got this reply from Pulstar this morning:
We do not offer a replacement for the CRxH series of NGK plugs. It has a 10mm thread diameter and a ½ inch reach which we do not produce. We only manufacture a ¾” version of the 10mm plug.
I can’t tell you at this time if we are planning on releasing a plug at the length you are needing but I will definitely forward your inquiry on so we can possibly build it in the future as there is demand for it.

No experience w/Pulstar, but I've had great luck with e3 plugs on smaller engines. Works great on my 250 and did wonders for my weed wacker and lawn mower.
