Ok I have done every damn thing I can think of to get the POS to run right. The new Coil it is running and staying running after it is all warm but the POS junk still after everything will not and does not have any top end. It idles great but the thing will NOT go over 4000 rpm when under a load Period. It is flat out just a total DOG. Im done trying I am getting rid of the Piece of Junk. Fubar sold me a bill of good on this piece of crap and I am done trying with it.

Todd I'm at a loss to understand what is going on with this scooter? I know for sure it's not from a lack of effort on your part. What will be even worse is when you sell it someone does figure out what's wrong and it's something silly we all didn't think of?
But I don't blame you at all for feeling the way you do, most would have given up a long time ago.

what and all have you done i try to catch up and see if i can help ] Got it with No muffler replaced that. Has HID upgrade(nothing do do with running but since I had the plastic off). Empty all gas, Replaced all lines. Changed out stock fuel pump with Electric pump, Replaced Carb twice. New Plugs. The Tire that came on it was rubbing on the Motor case wrong size for scooter Replaced that. Have changed out Variator and weights, Belt. Now Coil. When I got it had issues with the Air tube not staying on carb got that fixed so no air leaks on any of that now.

Justbuggin2 may be on the right track. Did you adjust the valves yet? If not, it might also be a good opportunity to see how all the timing marks line up. Maybe it could be valve gaps or a timing problem or both?

Just take a breather, charge the and yours . Do a compression test, perhaps a little time to seat the rings. Walk away for a few days. John

Todd that does remind me once of a fellow that had a throttle cable that would stick at a certain point and he thought it was opening up all the way on full throttle.
Put it on the center stand and use your hand to move the carb throttle and mark the point in which it stops at WOT and then move it with the throttle hand grip on the handle bars and see if it goes to the same spot.

JR Well I am getting full range of the throttle that part does not seem to be an issue. And On the center stand again I can get over 4000 rpm. It does act like it is starving for fuel. I just do not know where to go with this crap. I am not a motor Mechanic.

When it is on center stand and wot , move/wiggle the carb. If the manafold is cracked you will get changes in rpm. John

First thing I would check is the compression, if it is low on compression it will not have much power under load. Also what gram weights do you have in the Variator heavy weights will keep the rpms down. Alleyoop

It is not much different that it was before I changed the cylinder, rings and Piston. So am no farther than I was before I started. If it is low compression I have absolutely NO CLUE how to fix the issue....
