I have a Roketa MC-62, with the 257cc engine.
The current battery is only 7-Amps and I would really like to upgrade to a 9-10 Amp. My understanding is the more amps the stronger the battery, better (longer) cranking if there is a problem and possible better running because of the DC CDI ignition set up.
I am aware of the size issue and the possible need to mod the battery area etc.
Thanks for and suggestions.
Looking at Advance Auto and Battery Plus now.

Take a few minutes and visit a local wallyworld. Take a pad and ruller with. They have a large assortment of small batteries for garden equitpment and for motorcycles at lower prices. It is easy to run a couple of #6 or 8 or even 10 cables so you can mount a battery most any place. My Majesty scoot has it's battery mounted in the very rear just in front of the taillight and it is big enough to survive leaving the trunk light on overnight and still fire off a 400cc motor the next day.

I purchased a 10-amp from Battery Plus. It fits in the battery slot but the cover isn't big enough to completely cover the battery. Thats ok. Thats why they call it customizing.

Very cool RP, I myself have a 9amp waiting in the wings to replace the 7amp that is in there now. The 9 amp is just a little taller but the cover will still fit over it which is nice. Alleyoop

I got a 13.6v 15aH lithium iron battery from a local motorcycle shop. Thing is amazing but it has a bit higher price tag which personally I think is very much worth it.

What is the stock number for that battery? Who makes the battery?
