I appreciate the advice folks! But I gotta be honest here, I don't know the first thing about adjusting the idle and intake/exhaust valves. Are there tutorials/videos on this site that show how to do it. I have not been able to find what I was looking for in the Tech section. It sounds relatively simple. I'm sure I can figure it out. By the way...Hey Alley, where are you in the Burbs in Chi-Town? I was born and raised in the NW burbs myself.

Love this forum. Hoping to get some answers and advice. I'm a definite newbie at riding. I have a 250 cc Ranger. I bought it used with only 900 miles. I believe he had it sent to him from California. It has been extremely well maintained and is in great condition. It only needs to warm up for a few minutes after starting and off I go. But yesterday I had a problem with it conking out at traffic lights. It also cut out on me if I took a turn at a very slow speed. What can be causing this? Is the idle speed to low? Is there a carb adjustment I need to make? Any advice??
