To my knowledge no other Chinese Distributor does this. Not saying there isn't, I just have not heard of it.
Yes I am one of their Perferred Dealers, but I am sure they send this survey to all their dealers. I just like to keep people informed.

Yes, 1. Extend the end of the axle with the splines so the HUB grabs more of the axle splines. Reason is if the axle moves out a little the only thing ON SOME that stops the axle from coming out is the "C" Clip. So when it moves out the HUB end is wobbling on the axle and ruins the hub splines. Maybe they can add a Bearing that rides on the side of the ACTUAL WHEEL BEARING and the 'C" clip right up to it so the AXLE will not move out. Better Idea I think is EXTEND the WORM GEAR SLEEVE out onto the AXLE and have SETPIN OR SCREW through the WORM GEAR SLEEVE and into the AXLE that way the AXLE will not move out at all and have a access hole in the TUBE to take it out to be able to pull the axles out. That was one of the FIRST things I tried to do I have a DRILL HOLE about HALF INCH next to the Differential but then I found that the WORM GEAR SLEEVE only extends to the outside edge of the Differential Case. I believe now they all have the FLOATING RING about 4 inchs from each end of the axle tube held in place with two bolts and they welded a piece of pipe right next to it to stop the axle from moving out further. Back in 2009 when they first came in to the US when I bought two of them I had a lot of trouble with the axle moving out and the wheels wobbling. I complained and they wanted pictures which I sent them and 3 months later they Added those Floating Rings and sent me a complete UPGRADED axle. 2. One big pain in the ass is the FLOAT in the TANK it is so CHEAP it falls apart I have changed it 3 TIMES. They should make the FLOAT out of COPPER or something BUT NOT PLASTIC. 3. For the US CHANGE the SPEEDO to MPH NOT KM/H, Mine has KM/H on the outside and tiny BLUE inside for MPH you cannot see the numbers especially with the RED tint glow. At night you can see but not in the bright sun. Or have some way to change it or a Decal to overlay or something. 4. How about a more powerful motor I think they at least need 200ccs the trikes are heavy. 5. A little wider track in back 6. Make the tanks hold at least 4 gallons. I cannot complain about mine because mine is in front and holds 4.7 gallons. 7. How about a ACCESS DOOR in front of the VALVE COVER to make it easy to ADJUST the valves and change out the plug. I think that is it for NOW (HAHA). I think they should work on the AXLE part that causes a lot of problems for the CUSTOMERS especailly the ones that are not mechanically inclined. As for the REVERSE the 150s are really easy to push around I never use the Reverse on mine and I have it adjusted and it works. But when I first got it I used to use it and found that the CABLE STRETCHS and then you have the gear meshing problem inside. To help fix that to have some forgiveness either way when adjusting have THE GEARS it meshs with WIDER. Right now it takes maybe a 1/4 of an inch either way and if your NOT right on the gears do not fully mesh and you get the JUMPING AND SHUDDERING and if not adjusted will ruin the gears. Alleyoop 1. I think they have fixed the axel issues in the 150s, but will forward your idea to them. 2. I will send this also. I don't know that they will change this, I have looked elsewhere and have not been able to find anything but plastic. I don't think this applies to you however, using ethonol blender fuel will cause issues. 3. Speedos have gone to digital on the 150s and 300s. A button changes them from KPH to MPH. 4 Way ahead of you on this one Alley. I already mentioned that to them. 5,6 and 7. Good ideas will forward. Jim

Well another year is almost gone. Once again this year Ice Bear sent me a survey asking me to rate their products and personel, problems we might be having and suggestions to improve their product.
After I took some time to give them a constructive answer, I got a phone call from one of the higher ups. I had made a comment that I have customers that would like to see reverse put back on some of the larger 150 body styles. To my surprise, I was the only one, so far, to mention that and they liked the idea. That request will be forwarded to the factory. Hopefully, next year there will be a 150 model with reverse.
If any of you have constructive comments that you would like to see, please fell free to answer here, PM or email me.

I tore down a center section of a compeller rear diff ( early magnums are the same) and took pictures of it disassembled. This week, as time permits, I hope to reassemble it and take pictures as I do it and will post a tutorial. In the mean time here is what I got so far. I left the bearings in the main housings. Axel Drive Gear Assembly Reverse/Forward Shifting Fork Reverse/Forward Shifting Fork Disassembled The fork removed from the rod. This shows the check ball in place. The rod has a slot cut into it where this ball ( and spring below it) rides on the shaft. Reverse/Forward Gear Assembly Drive Gear Shift Rod Along with the Lever is what moves the fork from forward to reverse. Side Case Notice the shim to the left of the case. This shim keeps the bearing in the proper position Side Case Notice the shims to the right of the case. These shims keeps the bearings in the proper position. Jim/Owner Rapid Repair

I realize this may not be the right area to put this however, since this was a trike dealer I felt this was the place to put it. If not the mods can move it.
Dan Stagner owner of DK3 Mini Bikes Plus out of Rochester Hills, Michigan, passed away last week. I received an email from his wife.
Please take a moment to put his family in your thoughts.
Thanks

Update:
I got a call from one of my customers yesterday that just got his new modded 2012 Magnum. He is quite happy! He ordered it with the PDI done ( By Ice Bear Ca.) Arrived with no issues or shipping damage. Once they got it off the truck and out of the custom made crate, it fired right up. The only thing he has to do is install the mirrors, Ice Bear learned the hard way not to install the mirrors for shipping.
He told me that it ran down the road very smoothly and did not notice any vibration except he does have a bit of a trunk rattle. He said that the steering felt great and did not notice any "tank slap" at all, even from a dead stop. He did not ride it too much due to the fact he needs to get it registered first.
I do have one coming from the next shipment in September, so I will be able to see first hand.
More info as it becomes available.

Okay here we go. Ice Bear sent me an advanced copy of an excel sheet of some of the changes that were made to the Magnums. This information is not on their web site yet but, gives some info and pictures of what is going on. The pictures are not the greatest, they were taken off an excell spreadsheet and converter to a jpeg. Better than nothing LOL. The reasoning is Ice Bear's not mine, except where noted. Suspension 2011: Independent Suspension 2012: Solid Axle Independent suspension might cause the rear bridge to loosen. New suspension system increases the stability. 2011 2012 My comments, where the independent rear suspension was an improvement over the original in 2010, they didn't change the swing arm like they did on this mod ( next set of pictures). From what I can see, there is an additional plate for the rear fender to mount too, that was there on the independent but, was not there on the 2010 models. You will also see the rear swing arm has been completely changed. Rear Swing Arm 2011: Single bracket swing arm 25012: Dual bracket swing arm The Dual bracket swing arm design allows 2 additional cushions. One between the rear swing arm and the main frame; the other between the rear swing arm and the engine. Cushion between swing arm & main frame Cushion between swing arm & engine ---1 Cushion between swing arm & engine---2 My comments: With the addition of the "cushions" I would think that engine to frame vibration will be decreased as well as providing a more solid mounting system for the engine. Exhaust System 2011: Single Exhaust System 2012: Dual Exhaust System Reduce the possibility of exhaust breaking issue. Increase weight balance and stability. 2011 2012 My Comments: I like the look of the dual exhaust mufflers and the way they are mounted. Looks better than that ugly muffler they used before. Hopefully the chrome is better than some of the chrome mufflers I have seen. This style system would allow changing the mufflers to a Harley Style Shortie muffler like what was used on a customers Road Warrior that I did a post on earlier. I also feel the exhaust will move faster out of the engine which will help with how the motor breathes. Balancer 2011: No balancer 2012: Balancer inside the frame Resolve issue of front end wobbling. My comments: They call it a balancer but more like a steering damper that the "big" trikes use to stop "tank Slap". Honda Gold Wing Trikes had a problem with this at around 30MPH. Some of the Harley Trikes had this also especially with extended or raked front ends. Loose triple tree bearings can also cause this. I think this is a great mod since any rear wobble will be felt in the handle bars and this should eliminate that. The tank slap was more so in the 2010s than in the 2011s. Side Panel 2011: No side cover 2012: Add side cover Cosmetic change 2011 2012 My Comments: Ice Bear calls this a cosmetic change but, by extending the side panels like this, it will also add more support to the sides. This should help with side cracks. As I said in the beginning, this is advanced information that has not been finalized or published on their site yet. It was sent to me for my comments and there may be more to come. If so I will post it. Jim/Owner Rapid Repair
