Alright, I've searched everywhere (including here) and can't find anything that matches all my symptoms. So I decided it was time to finally ask for help.
First some information:
Make: Jinlun
Model: JL50QT-4
Problem: Last night I went to start the moped and the headlights didn't come on. I looked behind me and the tail light wasn't on either. I squeezed the rear brake and the front and the brake lights came on for both. I checked both turn signals and they both work front and rear. I turned the moped off and busted out the screwdriver. I checked the tail bulb first since it's much easier to get to, both filaments were intact. Next I checked both headlight bulbs and the filaments were intact in both. I checked (one) of the grounds that's near the rear of the scooter, it seemed well mounted but I removed it and re-seated it just in case. I'm sure there is more than one ground than that, but I have no clue where they are and can't find a service manual for this thing to save my life. So basically I'm at the end of my limited knowledge on mopeds and don't really know where to go from here (besides the shop, which is a last resort). I am relatively competent with electrical work I just need a direction. Any help is appreciated!
EDIT: Not sure if it's relevant, but I recently had the CDI replaced in this moped.
