Great post HotStuff! I also installed Dragon Custom Big Shot on my MC54-250B The oil catch supposed to relief the pressure in the crankcase, not sure if that is necessary. I may disconnect it and see if the performance changes. I do love the deep sound. I also replaced the original rusted studs(exhaust header) with a stainless steel ones and used stainless lock-washers to keep it from loosening.

Thank you JR for the welcome and the answer. The classic symptoms of the engine dying when hot, due to the valve out of adjustment. That what prompted my attention.
Another thing, I had replaced damaged original with 300 Kit. But the mechanic never addressed the rejetting the carb. Is it possible to have a similar "dying hot engine" when the carb is not re-jetted to accommodate the EXTRA cubic centimeters?

MC54-250B Roketa[2008] To properly align marks before valve adjustment, which direction should I turn the chain sprocket? Does it make any difference?
