JR i added Mystery oil bout 2 months ago someone told me this might help the float loosen up and fix the gas guage.is it possible this mystery oil has gone bad

:'(took scoot apart to paint about 2 months ago and had a cut on my hand get infected.so didn't crank it much in 2 months maybe every now n then but not every day when i was riding, today it cranked this am but sputtered a Lil ,my gas Gage was sticking and someone told me to put some stuff in it to lubricate it but it wouldn't hurt the gas so i did this I'm wondering now if this stuff sitting has gone bad on me wondering do i need to drain tank and put new gas in or add something else in it to help taken all ideas .before all this i never had issues when taken scoot apart i didn't touch anything on the engine  |

thank you jr .don't need to repack grease but since im going to have it off might as well i need to get a new tire had to plug the tire nail in it..im fixing to make a 1000 mile trip so want to make sure i have a good tire just so all knows ive contacted sunright international but they do not get in a hurry about sending parts specially body parts.ive been hearing and waiting almost 3 weeks on parts that were promised but have never been shipped..so far been kinda getting the run around if you know someone with a linhai 300 bike that is just a parts bike or another place to get body parts please let me know again ty for the pics and the know how on the removal thanks Tankrider for the help on the painting so far so good pics coming later

need to replace the sending unit anyone with a good idea how to i tryed to slide gas tank back a lil to remove tank but thats a no go i saw somewhere in this forum someone said how to doit but can't find it if anyone knows id appreciate the help got to get the old 1 out they have a new replacement 1 for the old factory ones |

i have found out that all linhai's 300 during a hot day with bunches of humidity will run up to the 3/4 mark...but was also told that the non digital temp guages are not perfect and also if it get's to the 3/4 mark during a hot day6 i was told and i quote and old saying from the Rock if you don't smell it cooking then don't worry about it .cause we all know what it smells like when it over heats  |

the door it's self is broke the hinge part is fine but where the left huinge goes on the door that lil bracket on door is broke

ive never got into my engine to replace anything im afraid i'll screw it up completely yes my take off is a lil sluggish to wish i had that ummmpf at the bigging my top end is pretty good id like to do all that changing the rollers n what ever else i could do to improve the bike performance but i'd seriously have to have some good books or something that could walk me thru it completely n even then id be very hesitent lol

well mine is all stock except i took the stock air filter system and inside the air box i installed a air filter attached with a 2 inch pvc coupler with the k & n filter really works good i have a Dragon Custom Exhaust i get about 75-80 out of mine ive changed the spark plug ive replaced the headlights from stock t good bright xeon's now i can see if i get caught in the dark which i do now n then.i took the fan shroud and radiator cover off the from for my ride this weekend to see if that will help get some more cooler air flow see what happens we usally avg on a weekend 250 miles on our rides we did part of the natchez trail took us 5 days 2011 miles were planning on ride to key west in october or novemeber or early febuary these guys i ride with have been riding together 5 yrs im a newbie with them but we have over 65 members out of Jacksonville florida yes on the longer runs mine hangs around the 3/4 maek maybe this is what the linhias are on the temp guage my next weekend will be me dropping the gas tank to fix the floater inside so i can get good gas readings ill let you know what happens this weekend thank you for the info

well i don't think honestly there is any more air in there i burped it pretty good over a month ago the only time it runs high is when i hi9t the highway going long distances i dont think the meter thats on the linhai is very accurate.i know when i ride around town for more than 45 minutes are so it never hits 1/2 point n goes back down if i do a long distance and only then over 30 miles at a time does it want to run higher than 1/2 way mark someone told me also that these bikes scooters are off about 10 mph on the speed ometer dunno so i usally run 65 and then only then does it go to the mark above 1/2 i dont know what the temp is then wish there was a digital one you can add to this bike id feel much better

reservoir was full to the line all connections are solid ,ill get some water wetter friday an try that before my trip saturday.is there and easyer way to get the the tank sensor with out dropping the thing lol and how difficult is it to drop it if you can give me some insight on it.oh dang guess friday ill reopen the radiator cap n see if its full there if not that ill use that space for water wetter thnx JR
