update...worked on it a lil bit today...took starter switch completely out of dash unplugged it and touched positive terminal to battery...IT STILL KEEPS CRANKING!!! i'm assuming the starter switch is not the problem based on that experience...should i maybe change solenoid? i did just put a new one on b4 i got it running but i kept the old one based on the fact that the stator was my original no spark solution. so i can try putting the old one back on to see if thats the problem right? any help advice or ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!

I posted a couple times b4 about my 2006 rakatak 150...it was running really good n i was learning to ride at a decent pace but....the other day it shut off on me when i pulled off road for a smoke...wouldn't start back up...got it towed home and tried to start it again n it started n ran for like 2 secs n shut off again...out of frustration i just covered it up n walked away...went back to it friday n tried to start again but this time it wouldnt start just kept cranking...even after i left go of stater button it was still cranking so i turned key off n still it kept cranking....hadda pull positive battery terminal off to get it to stop!!! So again i walked away from it. Anybody have any ideas for me? I'm so aggravated with it...just wanna ride n i cant

hi everyone, now that i got my scooter(its a 2006 rakatak 150cc) running i've found that my rear brake lever has no resistance...idk what the prob is but i checked the brake shoes and they look pretty new, cable seems to be intact and working, tried adjusting with the adjuster nut and no luck...anyone who can help point me in the right direction i'd greatly appreciate it.

ok how do i find out for sure...this is all new to me so i'm pretty much going at it blind. should i just order a new kill switch? i'm getting frustrated with it...i did try kicking it yest and no success. i'm at a standstill with it cuz i dont know what to try next...i did pull the kill switch out of the dash yest and it has 2 wires attached to the plug... a green and a black& white...i did try just unplugging the kill switch and still just spins and no start. i would've never guessed i'd have such a hard time with this scooter

thanks for the reply cyborg....actually i havent tried kicking it yet but will try that today...i replaced the fuse by the battery cuz the glass part was broken and also checked the fuse by the forks and that was good yet...is there any others i should be checking? also, if the cdi is being grounded out what do i have to do to remedy that?
