Number one I'd be checking the fuses and all related ignition items,, kill switch is probably bad and grounding out the cdi ,,, have you tried kicking it to start it?

thanks for the reply cyborg....actually i havent tried kicking it yet but will try that today...i replaced the fuse by the battery cuz the glass part was broken and also checked the fuse by the forks and that was good yet...is there any others i should be checking? also, if the cdi is being grounded out what do i have to do to remedy that?

ok how do i find out for sure...this is all new to me so i'm pretty much going at it blind. should i just order a new kill switch? i'm getting frustrated with it...i did try kicking it yest and no success. i'm at a standstill with it cuz i dont know what to try next...i did pull the kill switch out of the dash yest and it has 2 wires attached to the plug... a green and a black& white...i did try just unplugging the kill switch and still just spins and no start. i would've never guessed i'd have such a hard time with this scooter

May be a no power to the cdi ,,,get a multi meter and see if the hot feed to the cdi is good when you turn the key to the on position

get a 12v lightbulb with wire leads on it -- you can use that as a poor man's tester.
