Hello ellpee,
Yes all the other gauges work, and the scooter starts and runs fine. I rode it yesterday and they all light up, in fact there's a little red light at the 11 o'clock position of the fuel gauge.

Hello all, I have a 2007 Jonway 250cc scooter and the fuel gauge isn't working. I replaced the fuel sending unit as the old one had a cracked float bulb and the contacts were badly corroded. However, I didn't test it as I didn't have gas in it and I was certain that was the problem.
Anyone have any other thoughts as to what I should check next? I don't own any multi-meter tools and would need a block of instruction on their use if I did. My next move is to check the connections under the dash, but if that doesn't work I'll be dead in the water. |
