I picked up a Linhai Aeolus Passportz 50cc basket case for 50 bucks, I replaced the ignition and the gas tank, rebuilt the engine with a 50mm bigbore kit with A9 cam, last night was the test start. I did get it to run for a while, but it would cut off at high rev. this morning I started it again, it ran for a minute or so then died and wont fire, I changed the coil and plug and cdi as I ran thru possibilities, then checked gas, it is not pouring out just drip, could the new petcock be faulty? what other things should I look for
thanks

I will say, after 40 years of Harleys, my 50cc scoots are so nimble and fun to ride, I took one of my motorcycles around the sub to keep her running and it was only a 750cc which is not my bigger Harley 103ci and it used to feel like a toy, now it is cumbersome. I cant wait to ride my big bikes again, but I now have a love of these little puddle jumpers

I contacted Hyosung about my needing a new stator, they said the 2 pole is no longer manufactured. And they sent me a new stator and flywheel to upgrade to. It is an 11 pole, so how do I go about matching up the wiring and what crimp connectors do you recommend?
thanks

I had the same issue with tires being different with the same numbers, when I replaced the rear on a lance, the new one was very different in tread width and sidewall, it barely fit past the motor even fully deflated. I think rim size is of course standard but sidewall height and tire tread width is what varies brand to brand.

I do not currently have a license, though at one time I had a class A with tank and hazmat and motorcycle endorsements, I paid my Debt to the state, and am still paying, I need my 50cc to get to work everyday, to keep my job and my house, so don't give me any crap, about a free ride, you, have no idea what my situation was or is, I ride safe, and put about 70 miles a day on my little scoots, thanks

Hello from NC, I started working on scooter motors about a year ago after being ripped off by a shop a few too many times, I tore an engine down and rebuilt it, it ran great, still does, now with a 100cc BBK, I have built several 100cc BBK kits with cams that are doing well, I hope to learn a lot here and hope you, have patients with my dumb questions, thanks
