Could not buy a correct cylinder kit for this ped however picked up a minerelli one ...after running over it with a vernier the only difference is the wall thickness of the flat area the new cylinder being 1mm thicker than the original cylinder my concerns are that this may be for rod clearance ...would anyone know it's purpose please ...everything else measures the same as original ...any help would be wonderful, thanks cliff

Expected the stator to be good after fitting new one, checked the kill switch and switch on the sidestand they were both OK... Checked wiring on bike between stator and cdi all good..checked grounds all good.. Nothing coming out of cdi.. Have ordered new cdi and coil to see what happens.. Should arrive Wednesday, then take it from there.. Hopefully will all be good

Hi admin, changed the stator believing that to be the issue.. All the wiring is correct, I will check the pick up to cdi tomorrow which if I read another post correctly should be. *5 to 1*5 volts which I expect to be correct due to new stator... Ped not starting....would you know if this ped has a rectifier involved for starting or is it stator to cdi to coil... What should I expect to see voltage wise in and out of the cdi please... Can't seem to find colour of wire from cdi to coil... Thanks
