First off, thanks JR, your reply gave me the confidence to dive in.
I really hate these kinds of problems. In trying to diagnose the problem, I started by checking the voltage at the switches and in the process found the left switch had burned up, with the bad switch disconnected, the right switch works again. I looked to see if there were any loose leads but never found one. I just hope I don't get stranded somewhere. I will order a new switch and hope there is nothing else wrong.
Any suggestions for a good place to order replacement switch? Do any places have better quality?
Thanks, Tobey

I have a BMS Pathfinder and rode it yesterday.
Today, the starter won't turn over. Checked the brake light and neither switch will cause it to light. Turn signals, horn and fuel gauge all work fine. I don't know if I have a broken wire, short or bad component but I don't know how or what to check.
Any ideas of where I should start?
Thanks, Tobey
