I have a Kymco Grand Vista250cc. I had trouble riding with the stock windshield because it dumped air right into my face and eyes. I replaced it with a taller GIVI windshield. This shield is too tall and I am checking on getting it cut do0wn.
Now to my question.
I have read many articles that say that windshields cut down speed and lower gas mileage. I have also read many articles that claim that windshields are more aerodynamic then a riders body. Is there any data on the aerodynamics one way or the other?

I am a 74yo male. About a month ago I traded my Honda 1300cc cruiser for a Kymco Grand Vista 250cc. I have riden about 200 miles so far and love it. Looking for Missouri from the St. Charles area.
