WOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO I FOUND IT GOD DAMN MUTHERFKERSGDFDHF It WAS IN THE DASH!!!!!!!!!! Green and yellow wire! Lose as can freaking be. Have'nt seen that much spark since the 4th of july. Im taking some pics so you can share with other Linhai users! It will probably solve 90% of the problems. The new Cdi box you showed me did NOT work on my scooter. I guess its wired different. It was much smaller (half size). Not paying $40 to ship back to China.... Now putting it all back together should be fun......... UPDATE: Just went for a 20 mile ride and she ran BETTER then when I first got it. That china butt connector was severly tarnished and soft. I imagine it was arcing in there. Im surprised the wires were not all melted. I still dont have a clue what those two wires went to.

What color wire is missing from the CDI? Mine: Green yellow/black red/white Black
Im thinking there should be a Green/white for kill switch? I never removed and wires from CDI. The kill switch DID work prior to unplugging it.
EDIT: Looking for Black/white Grey/white wires.
I wanted to add. The scooter ran the way it is now (last year). I have not done anything new. Even the kill switch cut the engine out (before I unplugged it). My kill switch wires (2) are green/white and green. There is a green wire on the CDI?

My CDI only has 4 wires. Im trying to find out which is the kill wire. Cut the green wire....No the black wire joking I have begun REMOVING every single china plug. They are JUNK and have poor connection. Replacing with butt connectors. Two of the three fuses up front were corroded from bad contact.

Thanks guys I REALLY appreciate the help! Spent most the morning going over ALL your old Linhai posts. The scooter is pretty much STRIPPED DOWN! Looking for the plug under dash green/brown............... I simply disconnected the kill switch on dash (2 years ago) and put switch back in. Something got me thinking this morning. Maybe the kill wire is grounding out somewhere in the harness? As to the plug on the TCI/CDI, I backed the rubber plugs out so I could make sure the wires were pushed all the way into the cdi. Also probed there. With key ON I get power on BOTH sides of the CONNECTED COIL. One dim, one bright. I even cranked the engine with test light connected (hoping it would explode from all that power) . It just dimmed a little on both sides. Pulled stator case last night. All wires look GREAT. The rubber on original CDI is PERFECT! No burns/cracks what so ever. That is the first sign of a bad CDI. Im gonna reread your previous replies and check everything again. Charged the battery again last night.

UPDATE: Just found something else that just don't look right. So I made a little test light with a 12v bulb. With key ON, not cranking, the bulb lights up on both sides of the coil. One wire always to frame. On the hot side, the bulb immediately is super bright. On the trigger side, the bulb is dim and slowly gets brighter. Not as bright as the hot side. I did this with the coil connected. when i disconnect the wires I get nothing on the the trigger wire. Had the same results on both CDI modules.

Not sure if this matters..... I also had a coolant leak on the head gasket last year so i changed it. Ran pretty good most of the summer. I also noticed that when I was checking spark (last year) it was VERY faint. Had to put it in the shade to see it.

I have'nt gotten ANY spark since a couple months ago. I started it up for the first time this year in february. DAMN, i just remembered something that I forgot. When i pushed the button, it fired right up BUT it was at FULL throttle. Had to shut it back off. Pulled the throttle cable from carb, same thing. NEVER did that before. Anytime i had a no spark issue, I ALWAYs grounded the plug to frame first thing. Had no spark ALL occassions. I got brave today and held the plug in my hand while cranking. NOTHING. It died several times on the side of the road and was able to give it 15-1 hr and it would start back up (last year). I have checked every single connection point. All the spades are shiny and fit tight. Nothing looked burned.
Edit: I did adjust the valves last year. They both make a little tick when you wiggle them. So I know they are not over tightened.

The CDI box arrived today! STILL NO SPARK! Wasted $30 buying it from China. I rechecked the red and white trigger wire and I am getting some mixed results. At first, the voltage only showed AFTER I stopped cranking. Is that the norm? Got it up to about 2 volts. I retested the coil and i am getting around 20,00 ohms at the negative/positive and on the secondary(spark plug cap -/+. I tested the spark plug electrode (prob on each end) and am getting around 500 ohms at 20k (200 dont work on meter/meter is messed up). I am OFFICIALLY lost...

Got plenty of voltage on the power side. I went ahead and traced the red/white trigger wire and ground into the stator case and tested the wires there. I am getting no voltage while cranking. I am getting a .05-.25 with just the key on/off. I'm guessing the stator is bad?

Used the multi meter on the red/white wire and got some odd results. Used DCV on meter With key off got 0.00 Key on got 0.25. When I crank the engine, voltage starts dropping.
I REALLY appreciate all the help. If we can get this thing running, I will be MORE then happy to donate A $50 bill for website costs! Cheaper then going to a shop!

Wow. I searched ebay for three hours trying to find that CDI box. LOL THANK YOU I used "6 pin CDI" and it never showed.
Tried to upload photos but did'nt work. Posted them online. I will recheck the red and white wire to see if it has any voltage. The coil is only a year old but you never know.
One thing I wanted to add. Its been having problem for a while. Would run fine for an hour then just lose spark on the road and die. Letting it sit for an hour and it usually starts right back up. The kill switch on dash was also bypassed.

First thing in the a.m. I will get some pics. I included a link of what my CDI box looks like. There are 6 pins but only 4 wires in the plug. The wire colors: Black/yellow Black Red/white Green
As to the power issue: I didnt have a test light so I made one using a 12volt light bulb (two wires attached). The bulb lit super bright on the power side of coil. I did the same thing on pulse side (neg/positive) and got nothing. I was hoping the bulb would flash but did not.
