LOL, I did this for the first time when I arrived after traveling 3 hours up north, I was able to simply pry the seat up a bit as it does not sit very firm in the latch (latch is tight and secure), but I think the seat latch is too long. But I was able to see well enough and retrieved the keys without damaging the seat/lock.

My kick start broke and I am not seeing a way to get it back in the housing where it stays put - is there another manual method for turning the engine on this 150cc scooter?
Since its cold now, the battery won't provide enough power to the motor to turn it - it acts like it might once or twice, but as soon as I give it throttle to assist in starting, it won't start period.
