Here are some picture of my 2013 Jonway or the (MC-13-250) chinese scooter that I had done off and on this summer (Yep it sure looked funny riding around wires hanging and tied up all over “what the hell it’s my scooter”) like I said this was done threw out the summer so I done the voltage readings that I could remember (could be wrong on some)also moving the CDI, Blocking Diode, and R/R all to the front of the scooter for better air flow and easy to get to also I added an electric fuel pump and rigging up the vacuum pump for easy hookup if I should need it I also replaced the radiator fan with an higher output one and an R/R (VRRPM3H) from Oregon Motorcycle Parts don’t remember for sure where I was reading about the blocking diode didn’t seem to work like it should I had my meter taped and wire to the frame while I was riding and thinking my reading was up toward 15 volts which I could not take a picture of this Also after cutting the wire that goes to the alarm and whatever else it went to if I disconnect this wire the scooter will start but only a few seconds sounds like it ran out of fuel until reconnected so now I’m thinking about putting in a hidden switch to this s1375.photobucket.com/user/Robertban56/library/

#1 Question I've now have my bracket for the R/R & the diode mounted to the front of the scooter before the radiator what I would like to know is that I need to add 2 to 2½' of 16ga (wire I already have) from the stator to the R/R should the voltage & current still be close to the same and the wire I have work for the stator being the stator has cloth covering over maybe teflon (or fireproof maybe) coated wire? #2 Questions Not for sure but I think I seen this video on the scooter professor forum about upgrade R/R for the mc-13-250 I believe the person in the video called it an O&T who would carry this or one like it with a little more amp

not for sure if this helps or not but when I changed out the fluid in my radiator my temp gauge would top out every time my brother was down one day why this was happening and he was telling that I might have an airlock I really didn't know what he was talking about so he had me to loosen the radiator hose going to the scooters water pump (Wear Gloves) when the engine heated up thermostat open he had me to pull off the loosen (Damn HOT hose) from the radiator to let the water out and the put the hose back on with the engine still running after a while my temp gauge went down to just above the 1/2 mark and it will still get to that temp today before my fan kicks on
I would like to know what the normal temp degree should be and can you check with an old digital cooking thermometer or some way to get a good reading

Just wondering if I was to build a bumper lift for the front wheel of my 250cc (YY250T-2 or MC-13-250) touring scooter weight close to 400#. And if it was to break down how far could it be pull (if Possible) by the back wheel or would the engine be cranking due to the drive belt at a speed of 50mph or less

I have a new 2013 Roketa Johnway YY250T-2 (MC-13-250) which I'm unstable when it comes to riding it so I was thinking about buying a Cheap 50cc trike like say the (Mojo tri008) for instances from megamotormadness and was wondering if the trike axle would be changeable to work on my Roketa then replacing the Mojo with the Roketa parts

OK here is what i have done in the past to take out a torx bolt use a flat screw driver that is a wee bit bigger than the torx wrench that you use. Take a hammer tap the screw driver into the torx use your vice grips to clamp at the bottom of the screw driver then while tapping the screw driver use your vice grips to try and slowly loosen the torx Hope this helps
