I was reading the threads on my Ipad about the link listed here then tagged it and saw what they were offering. Later came to the computer room and couldn't remember what the link was but did remember that it was MMM Motor so I Googled that and noticed they have 2 different web sites. The one "http:// .mmmcoming.com/" shows the Ice Bears scooters and the like but the "http:// .mmmmotor.com/" show pictures of toys with names and prices of the other website. I thought about checking it out until I saw the second web site....SCAM ALL THE WAY.... I hope nobody gets reeled in to this.

Not at high altitude. 5 ft above sea here in Florida. Thanks Allyoop for the advice. I'm going to replace the plug on it then will try the tricks of the trade. I have backed off a touch and it maintains speed with no miss or pop if I keep the speed at 50 mph. Another question! Any particular procedure in adjusting shift linkage? I don't like the way it jumps into gear when shifting into gear then accelerating
Did you also see my question about posting a pix as you have on your postings?

The motor misses. It doesn't bog down. I can hold it at 53-54 mph speed and it will pop and miss fire every few seconds. If I back off a few mph, it runs good. It also runs good as long as I don't try to increase the speed with a quick twist of the throttle. If I give it a quick twist, it will misfire while it under load but then will smooth out if I keep throttle constant. I haven't changed the jet. Haven't changed anything on the carb. I'll give the fuel/air mix an adjustment and see if that helps.
I'm new to this forum stuff. How do you post picture as you have with your scoot?

I've got a 300 Zodiac and it has been running great until today. At 54 mph it starts to miss. I've got 700 miles on the engine. Any ideas?

Having been a mechanic for 40+ years and working on my own bikes since 1957 I elected to do my own PDI. I received the machine on Wednesday, uncreated it pushed it into a trailer and traveled from FL to OH where my brother has a motorcycle garage and we did the assembly and PDI. I am new to the scooter world but have learned a lot from your posts. Keep up with the good information.

I recieved my Zodiac and it's a very nice machine. I am a Harley rider of many years and have been riding bikes since 1957 but it has become hard for me to hold up the big machines so I've gone to the trike. There are a couple of issues with my Zodiac that I had to solve for myself because the dealer couldn't answer and the Ice Bear U.S. office couldn't answer. 1. Oil fill plug is set behind a plate and you can't get a socket on the plug. I cut a relief just large enough to get a socket on the plug. I don't think you can get the plug out without this relief. 2. The chain was so tight and the adjustment was all the way to the end of the slots so I had to lengthen the slot by 5/8 of an inch to give me slack in the chain. This is easily done with a good reamer. Don't forget to use a good rust proof paint on the steel to keep from rusting. 3. The lower running lights are either wired backwards or the harness is wired backwards. I pulled the pins out of the connecter from the lights and reversed them there but you can unsolder the wires on the PC board of the light and reverse them. I spent a few hours pulling the fairing and instrument panel apart and running voltage checks before I found the problem in the light. The blue wire is ground and the green is positive. There being a diode in the circuit the voltage only passes one direction. I was told that this machine is so new, nobody knows that much about it. I guess that I'm going to be learning. Also check nuts and bolts to make sure they are all tight. I found 3 nuts and washers in the underseat storage and couldn't remember putting them in there and upon inspection found they fell off the bottom of the seat. I don't think the Quality Control does a very good job at the mfg facility. Other than that, I like the machine. If I find any other issues, I'll post them.
