Long story short I purchased a Lance Milan 150t-f not running. Started digging into it and noticed I was in for a huge fight. I removed the wire harness only to find that it was spliced in so many places to count. Ordered a kit that included new engine, CDI, plug, Rectifier, Starter Cyl, and carbs. Orderd new Lance Milan harness and was ready to dive in... Now here are the issues I have
On there harness there are some plugs that didnt match to spliced harness nor to the wire diagram I found on line for my scooter. (Does anyone have a break down or pics of their lance scooter without fairings)
2. The recitifer included in the new kit is a 5 prong, yet origional is a 6 prong. How can I get around this issue. Also what was crazy is that the old harness had 2 rectifiers tied into it. The origional 6 pin and also a 4 pin.
3. The started button does not work. Im not sure why. On the old harness it worked with no problem.
4. No spark.. Im thinking this could be due the rectifier...
5. The stator is 3 yellow and two other colored wires. I think I got that figured, but I wonder if each wire puts out a different current.
So can anyone give me some advice on what I need to look into to figure how to get this thing running.. I bought a piece of crap but Im sure I can get it running linke a new scooter. Thank for whatever you can throw my way
