Well all of the rreplies were very helpful and I am grateful to you all. The YouTube Video really pin pointed it for me. Not so sure about cutting out the plastic however. She runs a bit rough cold but is fine once warmed up. The bike has 600 miles on it and will sooner or later have to replace the spark plug. Thanks All1 Attachments:

Amber alert on my 2012 Jonway 250 I can't for the life of me find the spark plug? I think I see the wire with a silver / crome end but if that's it how do you replace it? How do you get to it?

I have a 2012 Jonway scooter it has just hit 600 miles on it. My battery will hold up as long as I drive it every day. If I go a day without starting it the next day the battery is dead? Any Idea's? Do I need a new battery? I cant find this battery anywhere locally the number on it is  YTX 7A-BS |

I just took off the CVT cover to clean up clutch and change gear oil. Now looking on line at other bikes I dont see a gasket used on the CVT cover. But Mine has a thin gasket.
2012 Jonway 250 ytt
Putting that cover back on and trying to keep gasket in place was a royal pain! The next time I remove the cover do I need to order a new gasket or doe's it even need a gasket there?
Can I get by without a gasket? Doesn't appear that anything leaks from inside.
Any Help?

Wow! Thank you for the great advice! I was babying it oin take off's...when I get her the throttle on take off I dont notice the vibration at all! Love your bike in the picture above!

The bike has only 500 miles on it, changed all the fluids, yesterday while out riding it was shuttering bad at take off...got it home took off clutch cover, Cleaned everything up and changed gear oil. Drove fine afterwards. Now today it's doing it again. It's a 2012 Jonway 250 yt Will this do damage? Only vibrates at initial start off...smooth going down the road. thanks in advance! Dave |
