Hi, I was told that I could use 10/40 oil in the scooter but are we talking about the same type of oil that I would put in my automobile? Or would it be the oil that I would put in my motorcycle that has 6 speed shift transmission?
Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you, Mel
I have a Bali Roketa 250cc, 2006 scooter. , I have No. 2 – the CFMOTO / Honda Helix Clone. My engine cylinder is vertically under the seat and the spark plug is under the seat area. My serial number starts with 5RYSG ,

Oops - Looking for a windshield plus headlight switch
Hi,
I just got done setting the idle with my scooter on the center stand. I got the wheel not to spin and idle right. But when I was taking it off the center stand while I was sitting on the bike, guess what? I started to rock the bike off the center stand and knocked my head and hat into the windshield and it broke off. I was wondering if anybody had a spare windshield? Or a place to get an inexpensive replacement? Fix one thing and then there goes another thing.
I noticed that my headlight switch only works on the bright lights when I rock it down to the bright lights it has a spring movement but when I try to rock it forward, it has no spring movement and no lights will come on. Plus I have no dash lights, Any ideas would be appreciated.
Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you, Mel I have a Bali Roketa 250cc, 2006 scooter.

Thanks for the comeback. My scooter does not have a tach on it. How would I set up a tach for this scooter of mine yo set the idle ? Is there another switch for the dash lights? I do not think there is. I did not get an owner's manual with this scooter. I found that the person who had the bike installed a radio under the seat and added speakers under the steering post and lost alot of the clips to secure the screws into the body. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Mel P.S. What is PDI ?

Hi Jr, I went uptown this evening and found out that the headlight switch only turns on the high beam headlight when you rock/move the switch downward towards me will turn on the high beam lights. How can we correct this? Also, is there supposed to be any type of dash board lights? I do not have any lights lighting up the instrument panel. If there are supposed to be lights, how are we to get to them? When I coming to a stop at a stop sign, it almost feels like the motor is trying to die. It is like a shaking, hesitating feeling. Noting that the motor does not die but does not feel right. Also, it seems that when you come to a stop and release the throttle, it still feels like the engine is moving the scooter forward and not releasing like a neutral position. Please advise. JR,
Thank you. According to the picture, I have No. 2 – the CFMOTO / Honda Helix Clone. My engine cylinder is vertically under the seat and the spark plug is under the seat area. My serial number starts with 5RYSG , Hopefully we now know the engine in this scooter. Thanks, Mel

JR, Thank you for the quick comeback. Question #1 - Where is the variator cover? What would I clean and what would I clean it with? Would I lubricate anything? If so, What would I lubricate it with? It seems it does this shaking/vibrating only at the initial giving it gas.
I would assume the person that i bought it from did not change the fluids for awhile on this scooter. What do I have to change? What type of oil? What weight oil? Is there a transmission that has to have oil changed? If so, where is it located and what type of oil? What about the radiator? I did not get any type of manual for this bike, Any idea on location on the proper manual The scooter is a 2006 mc-54B-250, 5Ry/linhai. Any assistance would be appreciated. thanks, Mel
Welcome to the forum Mela and my first thought is the variator and it's weights, classic sign of a stuck roller weight or even nasty sticky Chinese grease in the variator that is keeping the rollers from moving properly untill you reach higher speeds and RPM's.
I'd pull the variator cover off and start there with a through cleaning and inspection of variator, rollers belt and clutch.
JR

Newbie, Hi
I heard you are the person to ask. I would appreciate any help you could give me. Bought a used 2006 Roketa Bali 250cc Mc54b-250 Only problem currently is when you initially give it gas it kind of vibrates /bounces until you reach about 5 miles per hour or the first 4 seconds of acceleration. I have read other people had or are having the same problems, but I have not read how to correct this problem. Please get back with the fix to eliminate this problem.
