Hi everyone! Working on a Sunl 150. The owner states it dropped dead on him while riding. Got it home, replaced the spark plug, the coil, and the cdi before bringing it to us to try to figure out. Replaced the stator with a new one we had on hand, still no fire! We have power at the key, power at the coil, the bike turns over, but no power at the start button and no fire to the plug. Please help! Ask what questions you need and I'll do my best to answer as the go between. Thank you in advance!

I've had my 54B 250 four years now, paid $99 each year the first 2 years, then it went up to $109. I just added our Burgman 650 and it's added another $40. We're in Louisiana and use GEICO.

We got her up and running! ;D We ended up replacing the fuel injectors, the fuel pump, all filters and fluids, and we still need a rear tire. But for now, she's fixing to take her first road trip this weekend.Should have perfect weather for it here. We did have the dealer check the bike over for us, wanted to be sure the rear end was acting like it should. They say it drives just like it's designed to drive. That engine brake is one powerful creature though! Glad it's Dwayne's bike not mine. She does ride like a dream though! Happy Holidays to everyone!!

Vino update

We've got her running! Took it for a spin, did a whopping 26MPH! Gonna take the rear end apart, take out the speed restrictor in the variator, and remove the restriction from the exhaust. Hoping we can push her up to 35. Any suggestions on improvements for more speed?

Got the little schnit up and running! LOL Now my dad wants me and Dwayne to race around the back yard! Can you just see that? My big old 250 and that tiny wittle Vino, he'd do donuts around me in the yard! On the open road I'd take him, corners aint my thang. Going to have to get some fenders for the back and an ignition switch, someone hotwired it when they lost the key. But for $50, not a bad investment. Now to see how hard it will be to get it titled. May end up selling her as a parts bike, a friend that works at a salvage yard says it costs about $500 to get a "lost title" "salvage title". If anyones interested in a good scoot, no title, let me know before we sink money into her, we'll give you a great deal too.

Would you happen to have a link to a service or owners manual JR?

What ever it takes Alleyoop!! LOL Just had a guy come up, wanted to know if we wanted it for a parts bike. Add gas, and it runs good. Kinda worried about the oil on the passenger side. But if we can get her running for under $300, we could make a little bit off of her. We've got an 18 yearold girl that brings in her truck, she wants a scooter. I figure we could ask $500.

Hi Guys and Dolls! We had the chance to buy a 2001 Yamaha Vino so we did! ;D Now, I need to find a gas tank and a seat for this little girl. Anyone have one they want to part with? Know of anyone that can offer a better deal new than $112-tank, $129-seat from cheap cycle parts? Looking to turn this thing around to a customer for work scoot. Do you have any opinions on this bike? Should we just junk it for the $50 we spent? Oh, it also needs tires.
