I have been riding motorcycles for over 40 years and it seems I always end up owning black ones. Black was always thought to be a difficult color and I have tried numerous products. I like PigSnot for it's deep luster and resistance to swirl scratches.

Now that I have a two tone red and silver plastic managerie, I am learning that different materials and different colors react in different ways to different products. PigSnot didn't thrill me. I tried using an aircraft plexiglass spray polish which wasn't bad.

Today I was bored and tried an old jug of Mothers reflections premium polish in a red plastic bottle. WOWEE!!!!! Now I can see my teeth reflecting from the silver and the red has an unbelievable depth.

It looks so good, I went down to the garage, mounted my kayuse, put on my tinfoil hat and made bbbbbbrrrrrrruuuummm bbbbbbbbrrrrrrruuuuummmm noises. I hate winter!!!

I was just curious what your favorite shine products are. One can never apply too much shine yanno.

What is this wax and shine" you speak of?

I don't know about the Mother's wax but I do love the Mother's Back to Black for the black platic. Here is an example of the area behind one of my 250's this summer after riding and even being washed;



Now here is the same piece after a cleaning and coat of Back to Black;




Easy to apply just rub it in and let it dry and it lasts a long time. Clean doesn't leave a residue, works on all black plastic and makes her look like new again.


As far as wax I like the Raindance in the blue bottle, wipes on easy shines well and makes the water just bead off and for sure makes bugs eaiser to get off.
