Welcome to the forum trevnar! The 4-pin green CDI is a DC cdi and you did buy the standard Gy-6 150cc engine for this conversion right?
What color wires are coming out of the new engine?
If it is the standard 150 GY[-6 you will have 5 wires 3 on one plug that goes to the regulator a;
green yellow white
And two single wires that have bullet connectors on them a
red/black blue/white or blue/yellow
Now the two bullet wires connect to another plug that goes to the CDI and in your picture you are showing 5 wires with 3 of them on the 4 plug a;
red/white green black/yellow
and the two plug has a;
black/white red/black
Now in your picture is the black CDI the original one from the 50cc motor? if so and you have the wires out of the engine as I stated then that CDI will work with the 150cc engine.
Get back with me I am having to leave for a short spell and will return and check your answers.

Ok Now i can tell you what to do. The plug with the yellow,white and green goes to the regulator.
The other two wires go to the CDI.
So plug the one wire that is red/black to the wire going to your origianl CDI that is black/red.
Now the blue/white plug it into the red/white again going to the CDI. The second picture with the 5 wires in your hand plug them back inot your original CDI and that part is done.
Now did your 50cc have a 4-pin R/R and if so then that other plug from your new engine will also plug right in and you're good to go, if not then let me know and we will get the right R/R located.
Again I'll be out for a little bit but will check in later.

That is a flasher for turn signals. 3 wire type.
Black = 12Vdc Gray = wire to turn signal switch Green = ground or negative.
Again let me confirm your wires. Plug the two plugs in picture #2 back into your original or what is called OEM CDI.
Thw wires from the engine are a 3 plug combination of yellow, white and green they go to the R/R and the two single wires go as follows;
red/black plugs inot black/red going to the CDI blue/white plugs into red/white going to the CDI.
If the plug on your old 50cc engine is like the one on your new 150cc engine and the wire colors are the same then it will work on your OEM R/R .
