Thursday 12:23PM:
I put on my leathers, gloves and full face helmet and off I went to see just what these newly installed(correctly this time) sliders will do for me. Simply put, it runs like a cat trying to cover crap on a marble floor.
Power comes on sooner at lower rpm. Midrange is steady, even on hills. Acceleration is a little better from 40mph. I was not able to check out the top end as I don't live near any interstate highways.
My opinion: NICE! ;D
One thing I did notice when I pulled back into the garage. I could smell hot exhaust. This may have been due to the cold temperatures(37 degrees) or maybe the sliders make the motor run hotter.

Earnie glad all came together and great report. Now you may have to adjust the idle down just a tad as sliders generally add a little rpm to the idle.
Good going!

I have noticed that when I first start my cold blooded JCL, it idles up to close to 3,000rpm until it warms up. After warm up, it settles back down to 1,800rpm like it should. It must be the sliders. Ernie

I don't remember what weight Ernie used but as with any scooter it depends on your riding habits/conditions. Ride in a flat terrain area I would go with 13g on the linhai, ride hills and a variety of terrains, go with 12g and you'll keep top end but pull hills a lot better. JR
