I probably should have left well enough alone but I got this strange compulsive desire to take one last crack at installing these $%^&%&^ sliders. I may have discovered why I had trouble the last two tries. I wasn't holding the squash plate all the way against the variator and the sliders got knocked out of position during install. I tested it on the center stand and I even tried to take a ride but as I backed out of the garage it was raining so I almost did a wheelie getting back into the garage. I think maybe the third time was a charm. Ernie

For sure! Don't feel bad I got my fall out of the variator the first time myself and had to take it apart too! LOL.
Raining cats and dogs here and hope this time it's a go!

I took the scooter out for a brief test ride tonight. Everything seemed to be functioning OK. We have several days of nasty cold, rainy weather coming. I'm anxious to take it out and put some miles on it when the weather breaks. More to come...

That's good news Ernie! Raining and flash floods here! Still warm though. I'm own satellite internet and when it rains hard no internet, right now it has eased up.
We'll be waiting to here back from you.
