I made my valve adjustment, intake 4 exaust 6, did move the clip back down to enrich it and moved a/f in may 1/4 turn in, still wasn't starting right away , but after it was running on the stand, it was running great, test drive today, going in town stalls three times, I don't know what to do next? How many miles? Have you checked the filter and spark plug? Also what is the A/F screw actually at? It needs to be appx 2-1/2 turns from bottom out. When you changed the needle were you sure you got the cap and diaphragm back on tight? Also check all vacuum hoses on the carb and intake.
Just some things to check.

In about a 4 mile trip it stalled and smelled hot, could the exhaust valve close again? the a/ f mix looked like it was all the way out, made a 1/4 turn in, we had it running great. yes all vacuum lines look good, I did look at spark plug adjust to .07, didn't check air filter. does that cap look like a screw? I didn't use carb cleaner on exhaust not or loc-tite? should I?

Richard I had pretty much the same problem as you do. If after turning the A/F mixture screw all the way in and backing it out counterclockwise to 2.5 turns, set the idle to 1800 rpm hot and you've replaced the vacuum and fuel lines, you are still having trouble, your carb is probably the problem. I didn't feel like messing with a cheap Chinese carburetor so I simply replaced mine and the bike came alive as if by magic. I've seen these carbs on the for $46 new. The only thing I could improve on is the enricher doesn't stay on long enough. I could put a SPST switch on the 12v line to the enricher so I can hold it on until the bike reaches operating temp. Now, it warms up before I hit the first stop sign in the neighborhood. The only time it will stall is at home, on the center stand when the enricher kicks off before the temp gauge reaches normal temp. If you hop on and ride, that shouldn't be a problem once it reaches operating temp. Ernie

Well guys, I think I found the problem, JR told me to check all my vacuum lines, he was right, one of my mean intake hoses was loose, the zip tie woked its way up pass the connection, put new clap, tighten down type, it started so much better today and seems to be running good, didn't test drive it yet. I'll ley you guys know how it goes:)
