so the wheather has changed here in NYC I noticed I need to turn my idle down after warm up I'm at 2950 to 3150rpm . is the feathering of idle speed a sign of another problem ?

I can atest to that, here in CHI gusts up to 30mph chilly in the 20s last night dropped into the low 20s BRUTIAL I SAY JUST BRUTIAL.
As for your Feathering of IDLE SPEED it is LEAN my man. In cold weather you need to RICHEN the Air Fuel Mixture Screw. And 2950 to 3150 is WAY out of line you should be idleing from around 1500-1800. So richen up the mixture COUNTER CLOCKWISE BRO.

That is same size as my Racing Prodigy Variator(which they sell as 114-115mm. I just measured it with my Calipers. That is about the biggest that will fit in the 150. Damn that is a good price shit I may just order one myself.

Why CANCEL?
Back to the carb if that is all your going to put on you can probably get away with Raising the needle and richen it up. If it does not run good then get 2 sizes bigger Main Jet ONLY do not change your Pilot Jet that will work just fine.
DONE EATING SUPPER(HEHE).

so I backed the screw 1/2 turn out , moved the needle one notch it is at its highest notch . we will see how the ride is in the morning .

Great, maybe that will be enough, It all depends on how much air that Air Filter is allowing to come in, some allow more than others.

well I adjusted the carb and moved the needle up one notch . The scooter is running great . The new sliders 13gram really changed the power band . With the stock variator its running fast almost 10mph faster . it seems to get up to speed fast . I ordered the larger variator when it gets here I will install it and see what happens .
I still have the keihin sitting ready to be installed with the pod filter , I just want to get one thing done at a time .
After the proformance is complete , I will change the headlights to led and get the gerbings!!!!!!!!!!

Al , it is running very strong I like it . Its getting a little colder here seems like the battery maybe struggling to crank the scooter over in the morning . I also noticed that with the idle running fast at 3K it started better . I'm thinking about turning it back up . What do you guys think ?
